Draknek & Friends are a puzzle game developer & publisher that also engages in lots of collaborative work. Alan Hazelden is hugely community-minded and in addition to making and publishing puzzle games, he also runs the following initiatives: Draknek New Voices Puzzle Grant, Thinky Third Thursday, & Cerebral Showcase. I've been reviewing Draknek & Friends' games for a while now (they're always awesome!) but they're becoming so prolific I though they deserved their own showcase! Check out their awesome showcase of puzzle games here:
What's the most recent video game you played?
Glowkeeper
What's cooler - robots or ninjas?
Robots!
Who would win in a fight? A kraken with no tentacles or a vampire with no teeth?
Tricky to choose whether to bet on the kraken's immense size or the vampire's undeath. Vampire, on a technicality.
Is your second toe bigger than your big toe?
No, my big toe is my biggest toe and my second toe is my secondest toe.
How long can food be on the ground before you won't eat it?
Sticky food: into the bin. Smooth food: into the mouth. Smooth food that's now sticky: into the bin. Sticky food that's now smooth? No comment.

Sokobond's fun. Could benefit from a touch more guidance as working out the winning bond can be trial & error but good range of chemistry-themed mechanics, clean ui, and 100 levels to play through.

Theme: Monsters
A Monster's Expedition is a super chill puzzle game where the world itself is the puzzle. Its best feature is its sense of humour as you explore the strange world of humans through a monster's eyes.

Theme: Adventure
Bonfire Peaks under-sells itself. It's actually a great little puzzle game. Sokoban-based but it makes great use of all three dimensions. Includes a good range of layered mechanics. Looks good, fun.

Theme: Chemistry
Sokobond Express features a range of chemical interactions turned into sokobond puzzle mechanics. It's very clever but can be challenging to engage with if your chemistry knowledge is not solid.

A Good Snowman is fun puzzle game built on a simple premise. Cute graphics & kid friendly although puzzles do get more challenging as you progress. Clever level design makes for a fun game.

Theme: Space
Cosmic Express is a bloody big puzzle game. It's sokoban-based, but the addition of the rail system means you can't backtrack, adding another layer of complexity. Fun but gets challenging quickly!

Theme: Umm...
LOK is an exceptional puzzle game. Tons of levels, well-designed, perfect difficulty curve. Clever use of overlapping and layered mechanics, particularly manipulation of adjacency and space. Brilliant

Electrifying Incident is a very well-presented puzzle game focused on switch puzzles & sokoban elements with a cool bendable grappling hook feature. Level design is exceptional. Short but challenging.

Theme: Paradox
Patrick's Parabox might be minimalist in the graphics department but as puzzle games go, it's a real gem. The paradox mechanism makes for a unique experience. And it's huge, 350+ handcrafted levels!

Spooky Express is another great on-the-rails sudoku experience by Draknek. Lots of freedom of level choice, well-designed difficulty curve, and challenging levels requiring innovative solutions. Love the monster-based mechanics including turning humans into zombies or vampires (or trying not to!) and "bump" interactions!
